Pupils from Primaries 3 - 7 gathered in the school hall to debate the pros and cons for the Breaksit proposal. Primary 7 led the debate and came out very strongly in favour of the status quo, maintaining one break as it would allow the older children to play and speak Irish to the younger children as well as an earlier break being more welcome after a Practice Test in the hall. The floor, however, was of a different opinion. While a few children did mention that it was nice to play with their younger cousins, most pupils said that they would prefer more space for their games and some saying that they are worried that some of the younger children might get hurt with so many children in the yard.
