Irish children's author Myra Zepf called into the school recently to run a workshop with the P6 pupils on her new book about how Loch Neagh got its name, a wonderful story about a brave girl called Lí Bán, filled with giant horses, mermaids, kings and magic. The children got to write about their won part of the story and will visit the Seamus Heaney Heritahge Centre on the 4th of December to present their work, along with the pupils in the other 5 Gaelscoileanna in mid-Ulster. Watch this space for more information on how the loch got its name!
